John and the entire team from Superior Remodelers met our need for our vinyl window replacements as well as a sliding glass door in our Newtown, CT home. I visited their local showroom after seeing an ad in the Bee, and just knowing from word of mouth around town. Upon my unscheduled visit, John showed me a few of the different vinyl replacement window options from a few different manufacturers, highlighted the features of each. Ultimately, after looking at samples from a few different manufacturers, we chose to invest in the Okna 800 Enviro Star series. Due to supply chain and manufacturing issues affecting the entire industry, John forecasted our install would be about 12 weeks from date of order. Right at 12 weeks, John called to say the windows were in, and they were ready to schedule with the install. We agreed on the best day to start, with John being highly flexible to our availability. The install team led by Jonny was on time as expected, and they got right to work. Installing new windows in the dead of January is a daunting task, but these guys worked efficiently and effectively to minimize our heat loss while making progress on the job. Each day they left our home clean and tidy, with their tools tucked away nicely. They were extremely considerate of the needs of our family, and Jonny was always able to answer questions. Our sales guy John even stopped in during the install to answer my questions and see how the project was progressing. Given our experience, we immediately signed a contract to lock in the pricing on additional windows, as well as a front door replacement. The entire team from Superior Remodelers are top notch, honest, straight forward and were willing to provide solution to meet our needs and our budget. I should mention that in addition we had a representative from Lowe's out to give us a quote, and after telling us he wasn't a pushy salesman, he proceeded to quote us a price that 2x that of Superior, and then went so far to say that the 2x price was actually a "special offer good only for 48 hours". Making an investment in new windows is not an easy decision to make, but John and the entire team made it easy and I would recommend to anyone in the market for new windows for their home.
